Accessibility

Claro Learning has endeavored to make this website as accessible as possible, and therefore it meets international standards of website accessibility. Standards include alt tags, abbreviations, correct use of tables and structure, use of a style selector, and making sure each page conforms to certain validation protocols. Currently we conform to the W3C XHTML 1.0 Strict protocol, but we are aiming to increase the range of validated protocols in the near future.

We have the following styles available for you to use on this site, and they can be accessed from the drop down box under the main menu to the left -

Claro Style - this is our own distinctive style.

No Style - this turns off the main CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) and allows specially designed machines that don't use CSS to view the site.

High Contrast - this style helps visitors who may have a visual impairment, as it makes it easier to view the different areas of the site.

Small Text - this decreases the text size for visitors with lower resolution monitors.

Large Text - this increases the text size. It aids visitors with high resolution monitors and those with sight problems.

Each page throughout the Claro Learning site is printable by clicking on either the small printer icon to the left or the link at the bottom of the page. Once activated, a neatly styled printable page will appear, which can then be printed out as normal.
